Job Summary

LFCU is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and friendly person to be a Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for the support and planning and execution of marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, member engagement, and membership growth. THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. 


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-branch channels.
• Create and schedule content for social media, website, email, digital signage, and other marketing platforms.
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement. 
• Represent LFCU at community events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate community events, employee engagement activities, and sponsorships. 
• Research new community engagement opportunities within LFCU's service area. 
• Develope recommendations that support organizational goals and strengthen LFCU's community presence. 
• Other duties as assigned by Vice President of Marketing. 

Qualifications and Skills
 

• Bachelor's degree (or anticipated graduation) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Communications, Business, or related field.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, with a personable, outgoing demeanor. 
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. 
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, or similar software is preferred.
